Francesco has a wide experience teaching at all levels and for all abilities. From children in small groups, conducting guitar ensembles and teaching adult beginners through to coaching for music college auditions and external diploma exams. In the past few years he has successfully coached students for audition to the Purcell School for Young Musicians, the National Youth Guitar Ensemble, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Trinity College London, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Royal Northern College of Music. His students have also gained qualifications at diploma level from Trinity College. In 2011 Francesco was appointed tutor of guitar at the Purcell School for Young Musicians.
Francesco has always striven to involve his students in the wider world of the instrument and to this end has invited some of the finest players and teachers to work with his students. Gerald Garcia and Flamenco Guitarist Raphael at the Oxford Music Service, Stewart French and Richard Wright at the Harrow Music Service and most recently Craig Ogden who is now a regular visitor at the Purcell School.
Francesco is an Associate of the Royal College of Music, a member of the European Guitar Teachers Association and has enhanced CRB clearance.
